A D&D 4e Combat Manager

Please note: this web-site is going down on 28 April 2017!!!

4eTurnTracker will continue to be hosted by Launchpad. Here you may download the lastest builds of the program (version 2.0.12) and you have access to the source code of the project.

Cost of this Web-site is 120 EUR per year. I have added a Donate button below, in case you would like to contribute to the the upkeep of the Web-site beyond April 2017.

4eTurnTracker continues to be a popular program, even though many are playing 5e these days. However, I am no longer using the program myself so I plan to invest the money I spend on this site into a new project! :)

Thanks, and all the best to the fans!

4eTurnTracker FAQ
Great, but what does it Cost?

4eTurnTracker is free!

The greatest reward for me is if lots of people use the program, so if you would like to help, just tell your friends about it....

P.S. You can also help by, linking to the Home page, clicking the Like button, sending a Tweet, etc. Thanks!

Why does the software have an Expiry Date (or not)?

4eTurnTracker version 1.5.07 or later no longer has an expiry date.

Instead, if the version is older than 150 days a message box on program startup will remind you to upgrade your version as soon as possible. I highly recommend upgrading when you receive this message to ensure that you are using the latest disk format (the format in which characters, monsters and history data is written to disk).

What do the funny terms: Battered, Marred, Short Recess, Active Point mean?

Well, you could say: names and places have been changed to protect the innocent, the innocent being me, of course.

Seriously speaking, certain terms have been changed because they are copyrighted by Games Publishers.

But you can set these to more familiar terms yourself if you like. Just open the file 'terms' in the '4eTurnTracker Data' folder with a text editor, and change the terms to whatever you like...

BTW: B-State, M-State, SR-Action, AP-Resource, etc. will be seen in place of terms above if no 'terms' file is found.

How do I create Monsters and Characters?

4eTurnTracker has a Monster Manager window for creating and editing Monsters and Encounters, and the Character Creator window for editing and importing Player Characters.

You can copy and paste Monster Stat Block text directly into the Monster Manager, or you can import a .monster file (exported from D&D Adventure Tools). You can create characters by entering the most important data yourself or you can select a .dnd4e file created using the D&D Character Builder

In 2.0 Characters can also be created using a monster Stat Block, which you copy and paste, or load from a .monster file.

BTW: 4eTurnTracker understands all types of image formats, including: JPEG, GIF, BMP and PNG, etc.
