4eTurnTracker will continue to be hosted by Launchpad. Here you may download the lastest builds of the program (version 2.0.12) and you have access to the source code of the project.

4eTurnTracker continues to be a popular program, even though many are playing 5e these days. However, I am no longer using the program myself so I plan to invest the money I spend on this site into a new project! :)

I have just released 4eTurnTracker 1.0.09. This version includes a bunch of features that have been suggested by many users.

You will find a complete list in the release notes, but here are some of the highlights:

  • A easy way to move creatures around in the initiative list.
  • A quick way to remove Monsters and Characters from a running encounter.
  • A text field for adding comments to ongoing affects or to create custom affects on the fly.
  • A way to reset and re-run an encounter.
  • Added Resistance and Vulnerability to the ongoing affects that can be applied to creatures.

The new version also includes a number of improvement that will increase the overall usability of the program, for example:

  • The DM can now edit the HP, and Healing Surge and Action Point levels in the Character Creator during combat.
  • When a creature dies it is no longer automatically removed from the DM's display (in case the creature comes alive again!).
  • All monsters are automatically removed when the encounter is ended.
  • Monsters are no longer visible on the Player's Display before an encounter starts.

I have also taken further step to integrate the Player's Display into the action:

  • When the DM is entering the initiative value for a character, the character is displayed in the "Your Turn!" widget.
  • When the DM brings up the Short Rest dialog, players can now follow the input for Hit Points and Healing Surges in the Player's Display.
  • Healing Surges and Action Points in addition to the Hit Point level of Characters is now shown in the Player's Display.
